Oh, I absolutely agree with you, we don't know what happened. But do you accept that as a criminal investigator with 26 years experience I can tell you unequivocally that the odds of a potential witness to crimes being killed by a totally unconnected and random murder are EXCEEDINGLY rare. I mean seriously as an investigator if someone even tangentially related to your case ends up dead you have to start asking serious questions, questions I have not seen the DC police asking. That's all I'm saying.

It doesn't take an expert to realize this. It's pretty obvious that should raise red flags.
Again, I've maintained my views of skepticism. I do think we need to find out what happened. But everyone spouting off saying this is fake, or saying this definitely happened is letting their party think for them. Everyone should realize this deserves some looking into but could very well be untrue.

It is also odd that surveillance showed two men approaching Rich. The idea that two men would botch a robbery or that Rich would play hero in the face of two (we certainly know they were armed after the fact) assailants is very suspect.
I am going to reserve judgment until all the facts are released outside of the fact that I don't think the explanation of a robbery gone wrong holds water based on the public record.

Let me get this straight.
1) There is an "FBI forensic report."
2) This report was prepared within 4 days of Rich's murder.
So the implication here is that the FBI became immediately involved in this case, impounded his computer, and reviewed 44k emails - within 4 days of his death?
Are these the facts we're gonna go with here?
