Went to the range today and shot a few magazines of Blazer 9mm from a FNX auto. The casings would fail to eject about every other shot. Anyone else have problems with these bullets?

Blazer ammo is notorious for not functioning in many types of firearms, use another type before you blame the gun

I have shot well over 100,000 rounds of aluminum-cased Blazer thru G19's. It's always been the cleanest, and most reliable, FMJ ammo I've used.

I guess it's possible that there's a compatibility issue with your gun and the Blazer ammo. Or the odd chance that you happened to get an out-of-spec batch of ammo.

Is Blazer the only ammo that has given you trouble ??.

Does that ammo shoot OK in other pistols ??

eta: I also shoot Blazer in my G43, Shield and various Kahrs (although I don't shoot these guns nearly as often as I do my G19).

I was shooting with a friend that was using blazer 9mm. I could see the rounds leaving the muzzle and going into the target. It was weird.

Stop taking drugs before you go to the range, man.

Yeah-I've never been impressed with Blazer or Magtech ammo. Blazer has caused a few FTE issues in my Beretta 92FS (likely because of low power) and I've never seen ammo keyhole like Magtech out of a S&W 637.

Have seen .45 plenty of times when lighting was just right.

Armscor is the worst keyholing ammo I've ever used

I assume there wasn't enough powder in the 9 rounds causing them to go subsonic

The 147 grain 9mm is almost always subsonic. I just don't shoot that load at the range.

Can you also lean backwards and dodge these slow bullets like Neo?

Blazer dirties up my Shield pretty good, but shoots through it pretty well. I'm pretty sure I narrowed down the only shells that I've had not eject as coming from one of my mags. The last time I shot that stopped happening. Magtech, PMC Bronze and Walmart Perfecta shoot about the same as Blazer.

Cabelas has the 600 rounds of the PMC® Bronze Bulk 9mm 115 grain Handgun Ammunition with Dry-Storage Box for $144.99

I reload and picked up some magtech on time. There is a shoulder on the inside of the shell with thicker brass so it won't hold much powder.

Won't ever buy that stuff for sure.
