Definitley.
Besides the fact the people who have to start a recall petition don't care and still want him in office.

To recall someone in Louisiana, you have to have a petition signed by 1/4 of the registered voters in that area. Considering the fact that 1/3 of the registered voters in New Orleans are dead and 7/12 of those living are democrats, it's pretty much a non-starter. Oh, and there's a crazy short window of time in which to gather all of those signatures or else the petition is void, and one has to wait 2 years before attempting it again.
Besides, it would all be a waste of time and money anyways because he's term limited and they vote for his successor in October.

They really really do. Everything's made up and the votes don't matter!

It's always been that way FWIW.
Louisiana is to politics as Florida man is to news stories. They are both just consistently not right.

New Orleans has gone down the same path of other decent sized American cities. The white people (and non thug minorities) flee to the suburbs to escape the crime and shitty schools. What's left are thugs, rich people in gated neighborhoods and very little middle class. This is how you get permanent Democrat shite holes like Baltimore and Detroit. Baton Rouge is well on its way too.

Legally, yes. Practically, no. Won't happen. His constituents like him.
He is term limited. But the slate of announced candidates is no better: J. P. Morel, Judge Michael Bagneris, Judge Desiree Charbonnet, LaToya Cantrell and Walt Leger III. All Democrats who will try to out-extreme each other for attention and votes.

The next mayor of a majority democratic city is not going to let a bunch of sister kissing, confederate flag waving, joeys from rural la and ms persuade him to put the statues back up.
It'll be someone more progressive than Mitch most likely. This board will hate him/her bc of their race.

And the murder and poverty rate will continue. Its citizens will stay on government assistance and repeat the cycle over and over and over again

And NOLA will continue on its march toward becoming the next Detroit.

Have you seen the real estate prices in the city lately, not really Detroit like if you ask me. The murders for the most part are happening in the same terrible areas for years.
You and your tropical isle hand grenade be okay on Bourbon St
