Fox: Comey firing opens door for Emailgate to be reopened

And to think, the ungrateful bitch STILL hasn't publicly thanked Trump for firing the man that cost her the Presidency.
quote:
President Trump’s decision to fire James Comey touched off widespread speculation in Washington over what will happen to the FBI’s Russia meddling probe – but the prospect of new leadership at the bureau also could hold implications for the ‘closed’ Hillary Clinton email case.
quote:
Brian Weidner, a veteran former FBI agent, suggested both the case and the immunity deals struck during that investigation could be revisited.
"I would be surprised if they did not review all the investigations regarding HRC and come up with [a] conclusion regarding prosecution. The statute of limitations hasn't come into play yet," he said in an email to Fox News.
quote:
However, he wrote, “a new AG and new director may take a good look at the entire case, and if anyone who received immunity did not live up to their agreement, like Huma [Abedin] with the classified documents on her computer, the deal is off and they are potential targets again
quote:
Former State Department Inspector General Howard Krongard told Fox News that he remains critical of how Comey led the email investigation – including the immunity deals with key Clinton aides Abedin, Bryan Pagliano, Cheryl Mills, John Bentel and Heather Samuelson.
Krongard described it as “the granting of immunity to five senior Clinton aides for virtually nothing in return.”
He said this is “normally done in return for a proffer of evidence or testimony which will build a bridge from one level to a higher level; in this case, the immunity grants built a moat around the higher level, not a bridge.”
quote:
Krongard stressed that the FBI’s interview with Clinton, “the highest level person and ultimate person of interest in the investigation” was held on July 4 weekend, “when the investigation had to have been virtually complete."
It also still baffles Krongard why Mills – a participant in the use of Clinton’s private email systems to send and receive classified messages – "was allowed to be present during the interview [with Clinton] and even to act as counsel."
And to think, the ungrateful bitch STILL hasn't publicly thanked Trump for firing the man that cost her the Presidency.

I'd reopen the investigation. frick these progressive morons.
And for the record, if you read my past posts immediately after the election I posted on this board that Trump should let it go.
I've changed my mind.

Hate to admit it, but I don't think Trump has any inclination of actually trying to put that witch in jail.

Maybe. Do you sit in a dark closet and think of me all day?
It sure seems like it the way you stalk my threads and NEVER post anything of any substance in them except jabs at me.
I'm starting to think you're trying to go full Toddy on me.

I just don't see a former first lady going to prison. However, she should just go off into the sunset and spend all the millions her and Bill were able to get out of people.

The Clintons brought this on themselves. Trump, I believe, was willing to let her fade into the sunset...BUT.
One she isn't going away she is going to run again, and they are also grooming Chelsea. Two the Russians crap is a product of Clinton people and Trump is furious about this and the leaking, some from Clinton holdovers and media friends. The man has had enough.
Donald Trump is a counterpuncher, he has often stated you hit him we will hit back. Look for a whole lot of Democrat asses to get in a lot of trouble for real crimes they committed while in office and today.

every time I read your substance (copy and paste someones stuff) I have to reply. one person can't be as jaded as you
Posted on 5/11/17 at 10:41 am to bamarep
quote:Why is that ? Maybe because Hillary and Comey were on the same team the entire time. No email prosecution then he turns on her last minute right before election .COME ON MAN! Hillary knew she was losing badly and Comeys last minute play was her out. A person she could focus the blame on. She was just a hard sell , a shite candidate, and America wasn't falling for her BS . Billions wasted ! Thought this was obvious to anyone watching.
And to think, the ungrateful bitch STILL hasn't publicly thanked Trump for firing the man that cost her the Presidency.

I don't think most democrats care that he was fired. They care about how and when.
I think most democrats are pissed at HRC and her campaign and have aligned themselves against Trump.

She was never going to go to prison. That was just dumb to even think of, but I would now prosecute her arse and destroy what's left of her legacy, and at least fine the shite out of her.
I also believe that a conviction would allow the federal government to apply Son of Sam laws and confiscate the money this old bitch makes off of books sales or speeches she gives that are related in anyway shape or form to the crimes she committed.

Do we even know if it was closed?
That's the thing we need to be careful of. People talk of investigations into Trump, his team, election meddling, emails, and foundations as if they are all separate cases. All we know for sure (from the horse's mouth) is that HRC emails was/is being investigated and Russian election meddling was/is being investigated.

Cases aren't officially closed until they are solved and a jury renders a verdict, but unofficially yes the email case was closed the moment Comey declared they would not recommend indictment.

Why the change of heart? Because she is taunting him or what?

I thought the same thing. At first I thought let's let it go so that we can heal. Well Democrats have no interest in healing. They want to fight. You want to fight, well let's do this. Lock her up. This current behavior is a direct result of them not being held accountable for their actions.
