Zero investment in education, leads to zero investment from businesses in the area, leads to very few qualified or exceptional young professionals sticking around to work, leads to a shitty tax base, leads to shitty infrastructure, etc. etc.
So much potential in NOLA and BR. It's sad how terrible those cities are relative to what they could be. Oh and the culcha doesn't help either.
