If you asked a current LSU baseball player what is wrong with the team....

what answer would you get?
1) Nothing we are fine.
2) Don't know.
3) Over coached at the plate.
4) Just bad luck.
5) We are playing to our potential

Bring a team sport and all. Just don't feed off each other well.

Baseball players are generally very superstitious individuals...and I do agree that there is a whole lot of luck, etc. in winning any given game. I think they would say something like "the balls just haven't been falling for us" or "the baseball gods haven't smiled on us".

7. Pitchers can't throw strikes and batters can't seem to hit in the clutch. This is what we see in most of the losses.

I've got a family member on the team. Outside of a few players, they hate CPM. Most of the guys are there to wear purple and gold, not play for CPM. They are hoping he gets canned.

This team doesn't have a killer instinct. Last night they had a chance to put away S Alabama early and they let them back in the game. This pitching staff also walks way to many batters. It's like watching a youth league pitching staff

I hope Mainieri retires sooner than later due to health reasons or something. I don't want to be unkind but I don't think this LSU baseball program is going to succeed big any more under his direction. If it is true that the majority of players don't like him, then that's a major red flag.
