Go to the store and try them out

What I like to do is take 1 of each model out of the box and sit on it. I go through a process of elimination until I end up with the most comfortable one.
ETA - you're gonna want to take your pants off or else you won't get the proper "feel" of the toilet

Drive around Baton Rouge looking for one of those old 5 gallon toilets that some idiot has thrown out after the flood. Bring it home and install it.

Buy one with the " guts" already set up inside if you are installing

Costco has a good two piece that comes with everything needed to install for like $90. Guts are already installed.

Currently administering a state test and almost busted out laughing at this.

Clearly this forum was not the place to ask this question.

This.....if you can't find one this way, I believe they still sell them in Canada.

Some friends of ours bought their house about 10 years ago, and there was a fat person toilet in there. They told me about it, but I didn't think it could be that much different. The guy said I just have to go look for myself. That thing was a beast. I hate to even imagine the stench of what went down in there if the person required a toilet that large.

One thing to consider is gravity. As I have aged, gravity has affected me in a way that my nuts now touch the water. We are replacing one in my house that is my only stipulation , that it sits high enough to avoid this issue.
