Don't think that's what he was saying, but I'm drunk.

Cajun's a saucy shedevil. She's always thinking of lechery.

My mom and i went to lunch on Carrollton today. I drove us through City Park to get there because I live on the other side of the park and that's the quickest way to get to Carrollton.

She said, "Oh good, I get to see the statue again." I don't get it. It's a man on a horse.

I'm just glad she didn't see when I gave someone else a "kayak" pic.

How does the story of slavery get told without the Civil War?

Erase the monuments of the war, and the war itself. Once that is done, they can further push the narrative that the US never got washed in blood for the sin of slavery. Might as well still be going on.

Is the war going to be erased before or after Obama takes our guns? Still waiting on that to happen. You guys are way too paranoid.

Of course not. Probably poor upbringing and worse education. The South really is a pity when comparing its development and course to other major regions in the Western world. And there's no excuse. Resource rich, labour rich, temperate climate which lends year-round ports, waterways, roadways, and airspace. Relatively favorable business environment, too. Yet it's one great storm or lost federal subsidy from being a collection of Banana Republics.

Sad. Must be the people.

Too much Bama in all of you, I suppose.

The right side of history is the unabridged version, it's really not that difficult. That definition does not include your agreement with events only that it is in fact "history".

Real simple concept.

Not every black person allows the liberals to keep them enslaved by their twisted ideology.

It's interesting, Jeff Davis's solution to making sure he saw another day was slipping on a dress.

Actually, that brings up a good question was Jeff Davis transgendered? Or was he just a coward?

My upbringing was excellent and I have two degrees (with a minor just for the hell of it). Post graduate work at UT Austin, aTm, and U Maine, Amherst.

Please continue displaying your ignorance and bigotry. It reinforces my decision to give zero credence to anything you post.

What a self absorbed, condescending prick you are. Typical leftist, punk squid.

Think about it:

What's happening in New Orleans is very similar to what AQ did in Afghanistan with the old Buddhas (priceless works of art destroyed because intolerant religious bigots didn't think it was "appropriate"), or ISIS in Palmyra.

You can't pretend shite didn't happen because it makes you uncomfortable. Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee and PGT Beauregard are legitimate American historical figures. However flawed you might think they are, particularly Lee and Beauregard were powerful figures of reconciliation after the war.

So, when the day comes that someone decides that MLK's accomplishments are overshadowed by his womanizing, perhaps not 100% of his post-graduate work was his own and/or his sketchy ties to Communist-funded organizations, then, "frick it. Take it down" - are you going to be fine with that? Or are you hoping a bunch of white folks are on the "right side of history" and point out that - just maybe, there is a reason to leave the remembrances in place and put them into proper context? So folks can maybe have a conversation about what actually happened?

At least that's what I infer from her statement.

Obviously. My comments regarding her sanity are apolitical.
