Harden actually stops shooting when he isn't playing well. I am so glad that Westbrook isn't on my team to destroy it with his selfish late game play.

Westbrook is the only reason the Thunder got this fR. Without him they play for a lottery pick.

And this is about as far as they can go unless he changes the way he plays. Keeping teammates involved can't be limited to when the game situation is rosy and the crowd's into it.

In a normal year they would be a lottery team. Their net rating is that of a lottery team in most years. They got lucky that the rest of the west was so poor. But to some fans just making the playoffs and getting sent home in a gentlemans sweep is a great accomplishment. Even though over half the league makes the playoffs.

They need a new coach/different system, and a different team makeup. These pieces don't really fit WEstbrook's game....not enough shooters.
Having Roberson on offense completely kills them on that side of the ball. His guy just sags off and eventually double teams Russ, allowing no one else to get open and Russ to be doubled constantly.

Funny how Donovan outduels pop in his rookie year as a coach. And the next year he is trash.

Stats aren't everything. If Westbrook was on the Rockets, they would be the 6th seed and everyone would be screaming that Houston has no role players.
You shouldnt be the MVP in the NBA if you lead your team to the 6th seed and can't win a playoff series.

A lot of people like who?
I would say the results speak for themself sending the great 65 win Spurs home. Wouldn't you? Did he win. Or no?

A coach keeps or loses his job based on his record. Coaches are judged on results.
