So who's interested in doing a tailgate for the Pats game? I will definitely be going.
If one of you insiders is right, I'll have to get a house divided Butler jersey.

Nobody but Saints fans want to see the Saints play.
You miss my point. Sports personalities, writers, talking heads, etc love coming to New Orleans for a primetime game. It's pretty crazy that neither SNF nor MNF chose at least one week for a game in NOLA.
Of course, if we're decent, we may get a later game flexed to SNF.

Oh I'm sorry, did we not just go 7-9 three seasons in a row...? Anyone who is still fooling themselves into the delusion that we should expect better than 7-9 heading into a season is a BITCH themselves.
It's ok to be negative about this schedule. It SUCKS.

Not enough of a reason to permanently schedule a primetime game.. you said it yourself, three years of 7-9 will do this to your team.. if the pats were 7-9 for three years and had five or six primetime games, you'd probably come in here with your ALLCAPS and your pannies in a wad and cry about that too

My god dude..
You seem petty

I have no idea wtf this has to do with what I said

Out the gate the Saints get fricked by the schedule makers. shite, where do I start?? Early bye week, Pats, Travel to the green teefs, divisional game and a playoff team in the lions......in the first FOUR games. 2-2 in that part of the schedule is a win but I can see 1-3. Hey NFL and goodell

I agree... Shut this shite down - no point in even drafting... how are we going to overcome this unbelievably difficult schedule that's filled with NFL teams??
Posted on 4/21/17 at 10:59 am to Mr. Hangover
I didn't remotely say the season is done before it starts. The first part of the schedule really sucks balls. Do you not agree with that? It seems this team gets screwed when it comes to scheduling more than not.

I do not
We don't know much about any of those teams except NE

didn't read the thread but my 2 cents...
*tough start
*I like the NFL pushing the division games later in the season- 2 of first 11 then 4 out of 5 to finish
*I like playing the dirty birds 2 out of 3 weeks (even with the TNF advantage). Really puts a focus on the showdown.
*Miss more primetime but I do think the consistency of 6 straight 12pm games is good for continuity and team rhythm. That is, the same routine every week.
*I agree bitching about it is pointless cuz we dunno which teams are gonna flip like Carolina from 15-1 to 6-10 OR Dallas from 4-12 to 13-3 last year.

This was my main point, but I've since branched out now and I fear my resources are spread out on too many fronts.. I need reinforcements

Every bye week should be followed by an AWAY game or a Thursday game.
Two travel weeks in a row then a week off and a home game. One too strenuous, the other is a waste.
