Those with 3+ children: sharing rooms

OT wife (pics $150 a piece) and I might consider having a third child. We recently downgraded from a larger house to a "regular" 3 bed 2 bath because the big house was a pain to keep up. I never considered making my kids share a room, but we really like the house we're in. Any of y'all have experience with your kids sharing a room?
And yes I know everyone was oilfield poor in the 80's so probably most people here over 30 have shared a room with a sibling. Im more concerned with the practicality of this in today's times.

You and I share a bed. Well at least the mattress. I already have pics.

More info: current children are boy and girl. Of course the baby could be either.

I've got 3 kids in 2 rooms. They move around. Sometimes they all sleep in the same room. Sometimes two of them share a bed even though they don't have to. It's a total non issue.
In the rest of the world, two families would share the space that we allocate to one kid, who's actually there like 10 hours a day. We don't need what we've got. And we want more. It's a disease.

Just send the oldest to boarding school when it becomes a problem.

I shared a room with two brothers for 10 years total.
For timeframe context, I had a cell phone as a junior in high school.

Shared a room with my brother until Sophomore year of high-school.
Shared a room with two brothers until 3rd grade. (Bunk-beds are awesome)
They won't mind/care.

Well that makes the room sharing decision easy
Have a girl....she rooms with big sis
Have a boy...he rooms with big brother
Yall have twins because you decided you wanted one more child and ended up with twins...well then no one can whine about the other one getting their own room...cause everyone is sharing a room then
One of my good friends recently had her third child. Her husband said he heard the best description about having more than 2 kids from Jim Gaffigan..."imagine you are drowning...and someone hands you a baby"

My wife and I are both only children and we're one and done, but neither of us can imagine sharing rooms with siblings. Hell, if it wasn't for her ocd cleaning she probably wouldn't be able to deal with me.

What gender will you be assigning it?

It really isn't that bad, you get used to it. I always shared a room with siblings. First my little brother when we were really young (we lived in a two bedroom house...later on another part of the house was converted into a third bedroom), then my little sister when she was born(we are 10 years apart...so I was sharing a bunk bed with a 6 year old when I was a teenager).
Sharing a room will prepare you for having a roommate if you live in the dorms in college.
I will say that I am a person that really enjoys my alone time now. I'm quite comfortable being by myself, need time alone on a regular basis (my husband is the same way). For me...I'm sure that is from never having my own space as a kid.

I grew up with 3 brothers and we all shared the same room growing up in a 2 bedroom house.
I bought a 2 br house 6 years ago, and my 6yr old daughter and 3yr old son share it until I can afford something bigger. Which might not be until a few years down the road when the wife is out of school and I have hopefully a better job.

Glad to see you're not assuming its gender

3 kids... eldest two, 8 and 5, share a room. They're each in loft beds and they love their room.

Unless you paying to frick her, a pic aint worth $150 when you see porn for free. Now if the pic is to determine if you willing to fuk her for $150, well thats a different story.

It will be fine if it's all they know. The only problem would be if the age gap is too wide. If the older kid is 5 or so it'll be fine, but as they get older a 16 year old isnt going to like sharing with a 10 or so year old.
