He's bypassing the media with those tweets, speaking directly to millions of people. Whatever you think about the tweets, don't underestimate their effectiveness in accomplishing what he's trying to accomplish when he sends them.

I agree with both. Nobody gives a shite about tax returns. Most of these idiots don't even know how to read their own much less those of a billionaire. If he did release them, they would have to wait for the CNN analysis to tell them what it all means. Maybe they can get Maddow to help with that part.

I honestly believe he just tweets about his tax returns because he knows the media can't help themselves on that subject and now Monday and for a few days it will be all over MSM. Which is what he wants at this time to keep away from other distractions occurring.
