Depends.
Is this version of Hela his daughter or something else entirely?

I forgot he mentioned that in the avengers teaser
He didn't. In the Avengers post credit scene his emmissary cautions him against trying again by saying "Invading Earth is to court death." Then they showed Thanos turn to look at the camera with a smile.

Looks cool. Will definitely see at the theater. I agree with everyone else who said it was GotG esque.
What would the Hulk need with armor?

It's so refreshing to see a movie that's not desaturated of color. I'm not just talking D.C. All movies are trending this way. I blame the Matrix for starting this fade.

It would make a lot of sense if she wins in this and becomes Death itself....aka the thing that drives Thanos to assemble the gauntlet and conquer the universe.
So Deadpool is going to be in there also!?

But director Taika Waititi has promoted Thor: Ragnarok as a buddy film.

This one looks more interesting than the first two, but for me the Thor movies have been among the worst in the MCU. They have the best MCU villain, but other than that are pretty weak.
I personally prefer the more street level heroes, so maybe I was just never going to like them that much. Way too much CGI for my tastes.
Cate Blanchett looks pretty badass though.

Couldn't remember why I liked seeing this so much. Until today

I'm sure this will be the last Thor standalone movie. Kinda pointless to reboot the series.
Didn't they turn Thor into a woman in the comic? They could always go that route and reboot the series with a female Thor.

No, they gave Jane Foster the power of Thor and the ability to wield Mjolnir.
Every time she used Mjolnir, she turned from Natalie Portman into Gwendoline Christie.

Hinting at the greatest death of a minor character of all time in that trailer. I wonder if the do it here or wait for a possible sequel.

You referring to the yellow eyed fella?
Possible Spolier below.......
So I read it's possible the last Infinity stone, Soul, is in Heimdal's (sp?) body. The stone is yellow, his eyes are yellow, & he mentions seeing 10,000 souls in earlier Thor movie. Hela kills him & takes the stone?
