Most Mentally "F*ck-You" Sport/Position... Golf, Kicker, Closer, Tennis, or Boxing/MMA

Most might say golf, but closers have far fewer chances to win, and kickers have even fewer.

Golf at the masters in the hunt would be so fricking hard to handle.

Golf.
It's all on you. Cant blame nobody else.

Golf, because you're literally all by yourself with no help. No teammates to correct your mistakes like a closer or anything. Every step of the process is on you in golf.
But I may be biased because I can kick a football and throw a baseball decently well, but I suck at golf so I view that as the harder sport / easier to make a mistake in

I say golf because the mental aspect exists throughout the entire contest. Plus, You, and You alone are responsible for the outcome of whatever you are doing.
Not so much for kickers. Maybe ths o was -3 on turnovers up until your kick. If you miss, you didn't lose that game. Your team did.

Trying to serve out a major in tennis has to be up there

I guess maybe boxing could be slightly comparable to golf, because it's only you our there, plus you have etc consistently overcome pain and drive yourself mentally.
Also forgot about tennis. Will ammend title.

Golf. A kid I watched grow up that watching him on the course you'd swear he'd he had ice water in his veins had a 2 footer to tie for the lead and go to a playoff in the US Open.
I'd have mortgaged the house he'd have made it. He missed.
His name is Stewart Cink

Just think of every little thing that goes in to each shot on each hole then having to do that like 300 separate times over 4 days. The holes largely play differently every time you play it. It has to be draining.

Id go with mma.
You go out in your draws and fight other badass people. Not only that, but you have to fight people that are better at certain disciplines than you. Worst case scenario you get your face kicked in on national television. Thats not including all of the training and weight cut stuff.

Yeah and Norwood had so much help at the end from Bruce Smith and Marv Levy.
FG kicker to win a SB has to be tops.
You either win it or you suck. Your only hope if you miss is you can blame a bad hold...but when has that ever happened?
(And even then, the fans wouldn't care about your excuses.)
At least with golfers...its not team isolated to win...it's just isolated to isolated to win. You don't have millions of fans threatening you with violence if you miss a Master's putt.)

I agree with hockey goalie as one of the most, but they can always just pull you and replace you if you are having an off game.

frick, I miss Craig Kimbrell. Not that he'd have many chances to win today.

Goaltending/keeping in hockey or soccer would be a bitch. 90% of the game you do nothing then suddenly you have to be on and you're only noticed when you frick up.
Golf and MMA are still top 2 though.

I can see very few people have done mixed martial arts. The amount of time it takes to get good at it is overwhelming.
