He's a horrendous bastard. But replacing him with 4 horrendous bastards who hate each other is not the answer.

Nor is the answer to leave the ME and allow Russia to become the dominate dog! You will not like the break up of the USA.

Another horrendous bastard NK's dear leader 2.0. But NK has ZERO oil to my knowledge. So him starving his people and blowing up his "lieutenants" with fricking artillery goes on overlooked.

Oil isn't the issue for the USA anymore. It is for Europe and Russia and China. Would you like to see those countries unite against the USA?

I have no issues with an airstrike or Naval strike, but boots on the ground? Syria COULD possibly be Vietnamish??? A real army, real cities, real infrastructure. Like breaking up a fight with your nasty white trash neighbor couple. The minute you put hands on one of them YOU are the a-hole and everybody fights you.

Again, this will have to be solved. Either Allow Russia the whole of the ME or be involved.

We just need to leave and protect ourselves and allies.

What Ally do you think we will have in 20 years should we pull out and leave? You are not following the results of that.

1- Europe is already in a state of civil war due to the changing dynamics of the people. You are witnessing it now. The winner? Based on what we are seeing.... ME peoples moving in.

Once that happens, they will side with whom?

Let's say that the ME decent people do not win... Who is Europe going to side with when oil is an issue and the US has no involvement in the ME?

A Russian influenced ME.

2- The US, despite the strong belief, is capable of falling. If you retreat from the world, in particular, you lose influence. See the past 8 years and what has happened with our policies.

Russia waded in Afghanistan in 1980ish no? They saw what we are seeing. I can't imagine they'd make the same mistake. Of course we don't learn either sometimes.

this is not 1915 or 1940 anymore. Nuclear weapons make this a non issue I believe. Nukes make a world war an impossibility I believe, or at least I hope.

European nations will be our allies still, and if they request help, we help. Within European borders. Eventually tolerance for Muslims will be lost by all. I DON"T KNOW how that plays out. Only so many cars can be driven into crowds before there is backlash. Muslims are like locusts. they destroy whatever they touch. Until Muslims within their own religion start feeling shame for what their fringes have become and continue to do, nothing will change. Instead they seem to feel indifferent and at times point fingers at those who get pissed about them and scream "bigot."

This is true.

Recent discoveries and extraction methods have shown that we may have the largest oil reserves in the world. Our shale reserves hold an estimated 2 Trillion barrels of oil.
