this discussion is reminding me so much of jones last season. i was raked over the coals and called every name in the book when i pointed out that the season was halfway over and the odds of a 90+ rpi team making the tourney were slim to none. guess what happened?

it can be argued that there's a lot of baseball left but, my point is that mainieri's issues existed before this season even started.

CPM says don't worry because he is still picking up his check with 50% raise so don't you little fellas be concerned because he is AOK.

CPM also says that he has a nice extension too so you don't have to worry about his future either because he has plenty of money and is comfortable no matter how this team plays or how the season turns out he is just fine.

Finally CPM says thanks for not blaming him because it's just baseball and that ole ball can take some funny bounces and the competition has just gotten better ya know. Those competitors keep getting better and have just caught up with little old LSU.
