Russia sends worlds largest Sub to the Baltic: armed with 20 nuclear missiles

The massive Typhoon-class sub called Dmitry Donskoy is to leave the White Sea and travel around Norway and Denmark into what Putin's officials are calling NATO's swimming pool.
Measuring 574-foot in length and equipped with a total of 200 deadly weapons, it is one of the most feared vessels of the Cold War era.
The Kremlin is scheduled to parade the submarine in St Petersburg, but is set to serve as a chilling reminder to the rest of the world about Russia's nuclear prowess.

Never understood stuff like this. Everyone knows Russia has nukes. Moving the sub to the Baltic sea doesn't make it any more of a threat than if it was off the shore of Russia. ICBM's are ICBM's no matter from where they are launched.

So Russia could send this to the Baltic without publicly announcing it right? I just ask because my cousin in the Navy worked on submarines and we never and will never know what part of the world he was in.
