I don't even know how people handle this
Here's praying that when/if we have kids, it's two tops. My biggest fear is going for the second and hitting triplets or some shite.

Chrysler doesn't now, nor has it ever, made the best of anything.
this is the correct answer.

Buy the extended warranty because it's going to be problematic.
I know Chrysler doesn't have the most stellar reliability reputation, but this new Pacifica is supposed to be built on a completely new platform from the ground up. Not sure if that helps or hurts.
I can get a fully loaded Hybrid Ultimate model for about $35K (after federal and state credits), which comes with the following standard features:
- Napa leather seats
- Rear View Mirror with Microphone
- Advanced SafetyTec Group
- Uconnect® Theater Package
- 360-Degree Surround View Camera System
- Blind Spot and Cross Path Detection
- Electronic Stability Control
- Full Speed Forward-Collision Warning Plus
- Adaptive cruise control
- Hill Start Assist
- Lane Departure Warning Plus
- LED Signature Daytime Running Headlamps
- Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist with Stop
- ParkSense® Front and Rear Park Assist with Stop
- ParkSense® Rear Park Assist with Stop
- ParkView™ Rear Back-Up Camera
- Remote Start System
Also, leasing in an option over buying, so if I don't like it at the end of 3 years, I can just turn it in.

I don't know why anybody buys a car over 20k for a litany of reasons. I get physically ill spending 15k

I'd get a 70's style conversion van like BA Barakus had on the A Team but with a tear drop window.

Rented one a couple of years back. Nice, but a Gas Hog!

No it is not because Chrysler.

What Chrysler dealership do you work at OP?
You sound like a commercial for a Pacifica.

Probably. I hate Chrysler but minivans, trucks and Jeeps are their core competency.

Make sure warraranty covers transmission. You'll thank me later

What's the point of a minivan over an SUV? Is it just price?
The comfort/room/loading-unloading, etc of a van cannot be matched by ANY SUV

For frick sake. Be a fricking man and buy a pickup. You might need another one in a decade. Your wife won't need to frick the big, strong delivery guy while you're at work either. (I am joking here, but I do drive a truck.)

None of which are known for their reliability, especially the vans. Consistently reviewed as the worst in class. They sell a ton because they are at a lower price point and offer a lot of "extras" at base trim levels when compared to Toyota and Honda. But...their backup camera and infotainment system are all terrible quality. Unconnet is shite....but they can at least say their base model has a DVD system, so that's something I guess.

The new kia can (that's loaded)is the best mini van. We sat in one where the middle captain chairs turn into recliners and slide all the way back

Minivans are way more practical if you have a family.

If you plan on having it under 4 years, Chrysler is fine. But no way I'd buy a Chrysler over a Toyota or Honda to push 200k miles.
Posted on 4/2/17 at 2:19 pm to Street Hawk
Buy a Toyota Sienna and thank me later.
It's the only van with available AWD and and can come with all the other crap like dual sunroofs, heated steering wheel, bsm, DVD and whatever else. It doesn't have a vacuum though.

Are Kia's really that good? I just can't believe how cheap they are.

I don't see the big deal. I like minivans.
