You are completely making shite up. Tiger was always respected and liked by his peers.

He had a great relationship with Jack and Arnie too

Stick to tennis because IF you were a golf fan and not a Tiger nutlickier you would know Tiger was an arse to his fellow players and there were comments made about his shitty attitude. Also, Jack and Arnie were the pure professionals unlike el dickhead.

Last year before the Masters Jack made veiled criticizing remarks about el dickhead and announcers on the golf channel called Tiger out openly about how much better the game is w/o him.

And it is!

I don't know about all that. Think how awesome it would be to see him still playing at a high level and dueling it out with the young, popular stars today. People would watch because it is Tiger Woods. People who hate him would watch in hopes that he'd get knocked off each week. You can't tell me that a Sunday pairing of he and Speith at Augusta wouldn't be strong for the sport.

I think he plays, but I don't see any way he makes the cut. Not even Tiger can take off from competition as long as he has, return to competition at Augusta and expect to play well.

Im with you. It's not better that he's gone, although it does appear he's just about done.

Looks like he's gonna give it a go. When they asked about his health and where his game was he said that he wouldn't enter a tournament if he didn't believe he could play and compete. The back is 90-95%.

Played golf with Bubba since his dad was walking junior tournaments with him carrying a six pack of beer. Yep, at nine in the morning.

I'm not going to blame the lack of the current generation to captivate the audience as well to Tiger. He has been pretty irrelevant for a while now. They've had an opportunity to capture the sport. They've shown some flashes, but have yet to do so. Yes, there will be a natural decline when one of the greatest to ever play stops contending, but that isn't their fault, not solely anyways.

But I still think there's a correlation. They are "boring" because nobody knows them. Television and the PGA have spent zero time promoting any of them or creating a narrative for any of them. I mean, Bubba has more personality than Phil, but nobody cares because they don't have a clue that he's interesting.

no, he's not ... bubba's an idiot when he gets in front of the camera and doesn't have anywhere near the success as phil ... those two together equal zero appeal ...
