Really interesting series this weekend. LSU gets a good time to get Florida since they are playing bad baseball right now and I got a feeling Florida will be playing their best baseball towards the end of the season. Should be a good series though. Anytime these 2 teams meet on the diamond it's always a very good game.

Even though the Gators aren't playing their best baseball right now they still won't be easy to beat. Sully is not going to let his team not show up and play bad. He's going to have them ready to play. I predict LSU's pitching will be too much for the struggling Florida offense and I predict LSU takes the series winning the series 2-1. What's your thoughts? GEAUX TIGERS!

2-1 LSU...

My prediction is that loss being tomorrow night vs Lange. But, depends if he is on or off. I've noticed this year that he has major control issues. If he can locate his fastball and curve, we win. If not, we lose. Faedo is a good pitcher and will keep our bats limited.

My heart says 2-1 LSU but my head says 2-1 UF. The Gators will be up for this series, and after getting swept, we will see their best baseball.

Florida is really good at home, really bad on the road and neutral site games. The same can be said for LSU.

That the games are in Gainesville doesn't help.

I predict 1-2, but would love if we can win the series.

UF wins 2-1...teams split games one and two: 4-3 fashion and then Sunday is high scoring with the Gators edging us 10-9.

I would be more than satisfied if LSU won one game in the series.

Faedo has been impressive against LSU dating back to a year ago, he's struggled at times this year as has Lange and for that reason I'm expecting him to show out tonight against LSU.

Singer struggled in the series last year in Baton Rouge but has phenomenal velocity while Kowar is their next up and comer.

Expect a 2-1 series either way, these are the two most talented teams in the conference so it's unrealistic to expect LSU to go in and sweep or even take the series.

My philosophy on all SEC road series is:
Love a Sweep
Happy about 2 out of 3
Not too mad with 1 out of 3
Avoid 0-3 at all cost.

This weekend I think the Tigers take two. Win Saturday split Friday/Sunday. Poche is the favorite over every Saturday guy in the SEC. If Lange is on he is one of the best in the country but you just don't know. Walker can do enough to win any Sunday in conference play.

LSU winning the series 2-1 sounds about right. I can't expect either team to sweep this weekend.

I think LSU will win 2/3 and there's no telling which 2. The way it's been going for Lange I would say we lose tonight's game but then again Lange has been bouncing back after tough games. LSU could sweep and I think Sunday will be our best game from a pitching standpoint. I just think Walker will have his best game Sunday. He seems like the type to really bare down when the going gets tough. Good chance we come away with at least 2 in this series.

Sadly, ever since our AD and half our fan base acted like whiny byatches with the football reschedule I fear UF has the gris gris on us. Lose two close ones Fri and Sat then like 10-4 Sunday. Gators getting swept last week was worst thing to happen - they will be salty

Florida loses to both LSU and Wisconsin tonight and their fans ponder suicide.
