Beautiful. I got to be about 20 yds from a grey whale, but would have loved to see orcas hunting. Thanks for sharing, as always

Thanks for your help. Even though I think the more pictures you post, the more money I'm gonna be spending!!! Can't wait for our trip.

You see a lot around here but I've seen orcas every time I've been out of seward.

If you fly out to Brooks Camp see if they'll fly over the valley of 10,000 smokes. The volcano Novarupta exploded in the early 20th century and it's phenomenal. Largest explosion if the 20th century.

You know they call them killer whales
But you seem surprised
When it pinned you down to the bottom of the tank
Where you can't turn around
It took half your leg and both your lungs
And I craved I ate hearts of sharks, I know you know it

I'm a man man man man, man man man eater
But still you're surprised prised prised when I eat ya

We only did a 4 hr tour out of Seward. Saw a lot of stuff, but no orcas. This was last April

Had some yesterday at a moose party for a friend who's son shot his first moose. Fricking delicious.

Went to a slaviq with gf in January and her upie made a herring egg salad with mayo dried peas and bacon. Was phenomenal.

Going to fish camp in the summer at the confluence of Johnson river below Bethel. Should be fun can't wait

Although encountering them is much more rare, we have a small population of killer whales in the Gulf. I have a catalog of about 40 distinct individuals. I have been right along side quite a few of them in a 23' boat photographing and taking biopsy samples from them. Its really cool to see them out in the crystal blue water...even saw them upside down one time under the boat checking out the propellers.
