I'm sure I'm going to take a lot of flack for this, but good offensive scheme or no, we don't have the kind of talent on offense that we did a decade ago. Simple fact.
Russell, Flynn, Bowe, Davis, Doucet, Addai

Etling, Chark, Gage, Guice
Love those guys and what they do for LSU, but the decline in talent is real and it will take Coach O a few years to change that. Temper your expectations, folks.

No one is expecting THAT kind of output, and honestly we don't need it. If this offense can consistently put points on the board, with Aranda finally able to make his mark on the defense, the results are going to make people happy.

You should be concerned about the talent level up front. Not at the skill positions.

Good lord. Way to cherry pick the one short time period with some of the greatest offensive talent ever assembled on one team at LSU.
