Imagine the possibilities with Shaq at the helm?

It would be too big of a pay cut for Shaquille.

Stupid. You probably wanted a journeyman DL coach as head FB coach too. What a dumbass suggestion.

It would be a disaster. Shaq is living the life of a rich retired person. He comes and goes as he pleases. He won't be in the gym at LSU late at night drawing up play cards.

Brilliant! I think he still has a year of eligibility left. Maybe he could be a player/coach a la Bill Russell?

Let him be the face of the program for recruiting. Top kids would love to come play for him; have strong assistants. PMAC would be sold out for every game.

Shaq is LSU royalty. He is arguably the most popular athlete in the history of LSU. There would only be a slim chance he could actually enhance his legacy and a pretty good chance that he could tarnish it. He sure as hell doesn't need the money or the headaches that come with the job.

I'll say this- if the liberal pansies get their way and we don't get another Mike, then I vote we just make Shaq the official mascot.

Shaq would be a great AD where he commands the room of power players. Not a scheming college basketball coach where X and O's mean everything.

do you seriously think Shaq has time to wade in the cesspool called AAU basketball in order to recruit successfully enough to have a winning program?
