After offering 32 overall pick for Cooks to #Saints last weekend, #Patriots still trying but No. 32 overall won't cut it according to source

Is there anything on top of their 32 that make you reconsider this deal? They have like 24 picks every year. Pony up.

I have to imagine that the Titans or Eagles are offering higher picks, so whats the point?

Unless they are throwing in a ton of stuff, 32 is way too low.

Saints will end up taking it cone draft day if that's all they get. They are holding out for more and rightfully so. No need to rush

if you can trade down and pick up a bunch of picks it might make sense.

would have gladly taken Jamie Collins and their 32nd since he was supposed to be our pick in 2013 anyway and they shipped him to Cleveland for a 4th....ahhh well.

What scares me about this is Sean is flirting with it if it has dragged out this long.

I coulda swo yesterday that the Pats were offering their 32nd for Cooks in addition to a later Saints pick. Could be very wrong, but after hearing the initial rumors of the higher picks from Tenn and Phi, this was about the dumbest offer I'd ever heard

Patriots are just doing a the Saints a favor by bumping up the asking price. There isn't any talks here other than that. I know from the source, so yeah

Any deal with the pats benefits the pats more than it benefits you.

Its why they are the top FO in the league.

32 is laughable in the extreme.

I'd take their 1st, 5th and their WR Malcolm Mitchell as a deal for Cooks.

If Pats deal Jimmy G to Browns for 12th pick then they could in turn offer the 12th pick to the Saints for a straight up trade to get Cooks. I believe they'd do it if you consider he was the 20th pick they'd be trading up pretty significantly.
