how you never replied to the last article that showed that he makes his team worse.
The list of players with a usage percentage over 30, a turnover percentage above 15 and a true shooting percentage under 55 is very small:
1 Russell Westbrook
2 DeMarcus Cousins
3 Russell Westbrook
4 John Wall
5 Shawn Kemp
6 Deron Williams
I chose these three numbers for a reason. When taken together, they show wasted possessions. The below average true shooting percentage coupled with the high volume of shots means that Westbrook’s shot selection could be better. Add in the high turnover percentage and you see he’s forcing possessions as well.
This isn’t guesswork. When Westbrook takes 25 or more shots, the Thunder are 12-13. He takes about 1.3 more true shooting attempts in losses than wins, and his true shooting percentage is 2.9 percentage points lower. He also turns the ball over .2 more times and averages 1.8 fewer assists.
But watch the Thunder for a while and you see teammates start to ball watch. Westbrook has had the ball in his hands 8.8 minutes per game, which is third in the NBA. Only John Wall and James Harden are ahead of him. But Wall doesn’t nearly have Westbrook’s usage and Harden has passed the ball 67.5 times to Westbrook’s 60.2
To whit: Westbrook is a ball hog. And that can take your teammates out of rhythm, and that sort of thing doesn’t go away just because you sit down

Russ's boards are effort boards. He's not outjumping some 6'9" PF. If he wants the triple double, he will get the triple double.

But he misses shots on purpose to get rebounds!

You can say whatever you want about rebounding, I watch them play every night, he outworks everyone on the floor, but to call him a ballhog is hilarious. Kobe was a ballhog, guys who average double digit assists per game aren't ballhogs.

fify. Imagine if he had guys that could actually shoot. He trots out there every night with 2 starters that will not even take a 3 pointer.

Well that's because Westbrook is a ballhog. They'd be a top 3pt shooting team if Westbrook wasn't there.

Kob never averaged the amount of shots per minute that Westbrook gets up. He has the ball so much that assists come almost by default. He will never be confused for having the passing skill that james has.

So what do you think would be the records of the two teams if Harden and Westbrook changed places, and remember, Westbrook would be on the Rockets, so act positively like you do for every scenario regarding the Rockets.

You didn't need stats to figure that out either. If we begin to compare Westbrook to Kobe I will truly lose all hope for this younger generation lol.
If I even hear Durant compared to Kobe. Don't make me.

I don't get into guessing games on record n stuff like that. Any team with similar talent will be better with Harden than with Westbrook.
He's a better playmaker. He's more efficient. He doesn't leave his man to chase rebounds like Westbrook.

Going by 100 possessions Kob had one season out of how many with that many shots. so yea Westbrook is more of a ball hog Than all but one of kob seasons.
If you look at PER 36 it's every season.

saying it happened once out of a 20 year career instead of none doesn't really help your case .....
