Piccadilly wasn't a big thing in New Orleans until the 80's. In the 70's-80's, the big "cafeteria" was Morrisons.

Wise's Cafeteria for the win.

Blockbuster is the one place that makes me nostalgic for so many different eras of my life.

Someone pointed out Structure which is a good call. I'll also add millers outpost/anchor blue.

One place that really makes me nostalgic, although they haven't gone out of business (but are nowhere nearly as popular as before) is Abercrombie. For some reason that place really reminds me of being 17-20 years old.

Skate Country in Elmwood and the Best Bank

if you were a kid/teenager in the 70's and 80's in Metry; you probably remember these (sorry no pics)

- Trampoline Jump Center ? Bonnabel & Vets .. they had a pet raccoon people would feed
- There were 2 water slides ... one off Clearview and I-10 (Wabash Street ?), the other was on Vets (Tolmas Dr / Ridgelake area ?)

then the 2 ice skating rinks.. Chateau Estates and Lake Forest Plaza
