Hard cider, hard lemonade, hard grape soda

Who the hell drinks this stuff?
I get that hard cider is "in" right now, but I can't say that I've ever been at a bar and seen people drinking it, or been at a get-together and had one of my bros show up with a sixer of Strongbow or Angry Orchard.

People that consider Michelob Ultra to be the "hard stuff".

Ive had a mikes hard lemonade from my neighbor before, actually not too bad. But yea I get your point, don't recall seeing anyone in a bar drinking that stuff.

craft cider is pretty huge in the areas where people can actually grow apples
good cider isn't overly sweet like the shelf stuff you find down here

In general, yes.
But I recently went to a few pubs in NE on business, and the cider there is legit. Drinks more like a real beer and has so much substance it's cloudy.

I used to brew hard apple cider and a lemon wine. The cider always sucked but the lemon wine was pretty good on a hot day.

I bought the angry orchard when they had a BOGO on 12 packs at Publix. It wasn't too bad, but I wouldn't buy it again unless it was some sort of deal like that.

I was hunting up in bumfrick Arkansas this past winter and drank some apple moonshine somebody gave my brother in law. We were cutting that shite with woodchuck and got smashed.
