Time is experienced relatively. At or near lightspeed, what feels like a few hours or days to you results in (I don't know the exact correlation) possibly years or many, many years having passed elsewhere.

Quantum entanglement, to me, is still one of the freakiest things about the known universe. Theoretically, particles on either side of the universe can be entangled and they don't assume their positions until being observed. Then the alternatives are even freakier getting into stuff like freedom-of-choice and superdeterminism...

If you are traveling the speed of light inside of a space craft, could you throw a football forward and make it travel faster than the speed of light?

No way. Like the comment above. Maybe 10%, which is enough.
The true way to travel is to find a way for creating a stable wormhole or bending space, those things could be possible. It's hard to imagine what we can do with a couple thousand more years of scientific advancements.

That's not how it works. The ball moves relative to the conditions inside the ship.

So everyone in the world combined walking distance in their lives could almost make two roundtrips to that new solar system.

That is how it works. If you're in a jet moving 500 mph, and you throw a football forward at 20 mph, the football is moving 520 relative to the ground.
What if you shot the football forward out of the spacecraft while traveling the speed of light through space. Could it go faster than the speed of light?

Without getting too technical. Your hypothetical is impossible for two reasons. 1. You can't travel at light speed and 2. Nothing can go faster than light speed.
But even so when you throw a ball it's moving away from you. It's reference frame is traveling relative to you.
When you add things like time dilation into the mix it can help account for why to the observer on the ground it would not break light speed.

You can't really reach light speed, it's against the laws of physics
Approaching light speed is actually a theory for traveling to the future. For instance, if you can never reach light speed according to the laws of physics, if you are on a vehicle travelling 99% the speed of light, the closer the vehicles gets to approaching light speed the slower the objects in the vehicle move so that they will never reach light speed. This means that everything outside the vehicle is moving in normal time while time within the vehicle is crawling
Light year travel may have to rely on a warp drive, warping space and literally riding a wave of time and space, the vehicle technically remains still while time and space move around it( Or we could figure out worm holes

Kind of
First, you can't move at the speed of light since you have mass. Same with your ship, etc.
Knowing that, yeah, the football would look like it moved normally, as sidewalkdawg pointed out. But it wouldn't in space. It would move faster than you're traveling, but less than the speed of light, to put it simply

The same applies. Only massless objects can travel at light speed. An object with mass would require infinite energy to reach light speed.

No, from what the laws of physics tells us, everything in a vehicle moving at close to lightspeed will be slowed down so as to never reach light speed
