If they are just talking about inside the city limits of these towns then Ferriday is for sure #1 and all those little delta towns should be on the list. Outside these towns on the oxbow lakes or a big piece of land is awesome but the actual towns are shite holes.

Central, Destrehan, Luling, Harahan, Cut Off, Zachary and Kenner being ranked better than Mandeville and Covington is a joke. Those places are shitholes by comparison.

Rayne is home to Chef Roy's which has the best seafood gumbo I have ever tasted. Based upon that alone, I don't think it should be in the top ten worst category.

Louisiana is by far one of the worst states in the USA for educating and providing people a chance to get out of poverty. Most of these towns fall into these categories. I grew up in Louisana for the first 17 years of my life and never knew we were poor till i got away from it. Louisiana as a whole is a shite hole but i still love it because i grew up there and have family/friends still there but to return is only to see how louisiana has failed in my 40 years on this earth.

Grew up right outside #2 worse, now live in the best. Youngsville has some good things going for it right now. I prefer it here over Ville Platte any day, especially considering its current state. With that said, F the traffic. Need to figure out a better plan
