How the media has become the enemy of the American people

You may be taken back by the comment, but let's face the truth.
-The media has long become a political arm of socialist ideas.
-Media has become activists for the left.
We could list times that they have gone way past the line of a free press.
Did Russia try to interfere with the election? Maybe.
Did the Media try to sway the election? Yes.

Did the Russians leak information on Hillary? Maybe
Did the media leak information on Trump? Yes and pretty much refused to cover the information in the leaks of Hillary.

The point being.... Trump has a point. This isn't a free independent press anymore. They are paid political hacks cheering on their side.

I look at the media as corporations. And their interests are not aligned with the American people. I know this because only a true free helps the people.

It's worse than that. The media is their own enemy. Newspapers destroyed their subscription base when they took stances that directly hurt white middle-class citizens. You know, the people who read newspapers? They really shot themselves in the foot with their social crusading.

They've been my enemy for a long time. Lois Lerner's trips to the WH largely unreported. White-lash. On and on it goes, and for a long time.
I understand them to be enemies of American values, although they talk a lot about being the fourth estate and protecting democracy.

Gannet Newspapers the number 1 chain is conservative in editorial policy. Tell me how the conservative media is the enemy of the American people?
