As a Ponchatoula alumni, the most painful loss is easily the 2014 2nd round home loss to Acadiana. Nothing can even compare.

That was our year. We were ranked #2, loaded with talent (including Christian Campbell), and never trailed in our first 11 games. Then Campbell got hurt and the dream died. As Ponchy Tiger said in a topic a few years ago, that was the 5A championship even though it was in the 2nd round.

Our greatest win was beating #1 West Monroe at home in 2015 to finally reach the 3rd round.

Franklinton. Lost to Neville in 09 in the Dome. Beat Karr the next year to win the 4A title.

Went to the same HS as O.

Bad - Played a second round playoff game against a much bigger and better Barbe team in 2004 (I think), scored on the first play of the game, then proceeded to get destroyed for the rest of it.

Good - I've been to 1 game after graduating high school. It was against the East St. John Perrilouxs. Somehow, someway, we kept up and squeaked out a win. It was Perriloux's last high school game and only our second win of the year. He sure was something to see back then.

Edit: Playoff game was 2003

I only have a best.

2009- Thibodaux High vs St Pauls in the second round of the playoffs. THS was down by about 20 points at halftime. Trovon Reed absolutely took over in the second half. Ran for a TD, threw a TD, recovered a fumble, and got an INT. FG kicker hit a 46yd FG at the buzzer to win it.

One of the best performances I have ever seen on a football field, and one of the best football games I have ever seen.

Yep. Runner up could be the playoff loss to Rummel around 2000 where they beat us on a hail mary

As a Parkview alum, I saw a lot of great games. Best one when I was in high school was either against Catholic in 2012 or against STM in the state championship in 2015. Worst lost in high school was against St. Charles Catholic in 2011 in the semis. That chain gang was moving the ball almost a yard on most plays

Perilloux lost to Evangel in the playoffs his last game IIRC. I think it's the same year as my worst game. Losing to Hahnville in the dome. Great game and Hester dominated both sides of the ball even returning an interception for a TD. Unfortunately, Reynaud had a hell of a game too and they won like 41-34. Best would have to be the game of the century! 1999 5A state championship. Long anticipated matchup between Evangel and West Monroe. Evangel wins 20-14.
