How could anyone be against this? What possible logic could they attempt to apply?
It's a solution in search of a problem that disproportionately harms minorities and the poor.
If you don't know that by now, you're not really worth debating.

How so? Minority voting has shown an increase in states with ID requirements.
Your position seems to be oddly similar to that of other leftie "true believers" on "sacrament" issues like AGW..fracking...etc. "The debate is over"..."The science is settled"..."if you don't know by now...I can't discuss it" etc.
Why do you suppose that is?

No one believes your lie no matter how many times you spew it. You support voter fraud.

Wow. That's some serious racism.
You're basically saying all minorities and poor people are too stupid to get a state-issued ID.

Do YOU think it is because they are not capable of getting an ID to vote when they need an ID to do any number of things in our society?

Jesus Christ. Can you be any more racist with your views? Why don't you go ahead and let us know just how stupid and helpless minorities are? I get so tired of people like you portraying minorities (specifically black people) as incapable of doing anything for themselves and by their very existence being dependent on someone else.

I bet if a law was passed that said that everyone that received government assistance needs a government-issued ID, every minority and poor person in this country would find a way to get one.
It is amazing that illegal aliens can get IDs, but American minoriities and poor cannot do so in order to vote.
We have organizations that bus these same groups to vote. Have them bus them to get an ID.

That is a talking point, not anywhere close to a fact. It's just not true, and if you'd set aside political party identity, you'd realize it isn't.

You don't think minorities are capable of obtaining a free ID?
You're a fricking racist.

Complete and utter drivel. Those members of minorities that have succeeded in life have IDs (to pay taxes, to get loans, etc). Those that haven't and the poor from the racial majority are mostly on some form of government assistance, which requires some form of ID.
