From what I've been told because they can't pull the truck up directly to my patio and instead have that haul is via wheelbarrow it is going to cost me almost 3k extra

Why wouldn't they just rent a pump truck for 800 then? Contractor seems dumb or shady if that's what he said.

There is an electric wheelbarrow that they actually stand on (forget what it's called) that can be rented for around $300, so if he is talking about a regular wheelbarrow he is an idiot and it shouldn't cost $3,000 extra.

I had my patio built from scratch for $4500 (25 X 15) in the Lafayette area. All wood matching my house with 12 X 12 posts and rolled roof. It has been around 5 years since this was built.
