I have honestly never seen a group of people melt harder over "winning" in all my life.

Still pales in comparison to the right's hatred of Obama and Clinton though.

Bush is a globalist and played the game. MAGA is not and will not.

The leftists will self destruct because of Trump. It's impossible to have outrage over absolutely everything. They are making fools of themselves. Just look at Elizabeth Warren. She has already become a laughing stock because everybody knows that she spews the same bullshite over every decision. You can't call everybody a racist and expect it to stick.

The left will soon Turn on their own and they will cannibalize themselves.

Trump's pivot on the immigration ban will be very important. I suspect that he modifies the EO to avoid the specific things that the Courts ruled against. They gave him a roadmap to success thanks to the 9th Circuit ruling. He can use their own ruling against them and rewrite the EO so that they can't rule against themselves.

I actually disagree. It's only been 3 weeks and I have seen as much vitriol as i did in the first 2 years of Obama.

There weren't nearly as many protests this early, and there was no widespread, establishment idea that he was illegitimate. Yet nearly 100 democratic politicians boycotted the inauguration.

That's unprecedented

Like with Obama, people disagreed with Bush's policies. This grew into personal hatred over time.

Trump doesn't know what he's doing. And I mean that literally. He's an attention craving drama queen. He flip flopped yesterday 3 time on the immigration deal for Christ's sake. Who does that? Of course people hate him.

Trump has driven them to a level I didn't think was possible. It's lovely.

I don't think there's any question about it.

Bush was viewed as a crony capitalist, sacrificing American lives in Iraq for a commercial, oil related objective.

Trump is viewed as a Russian plant, an existential threat to the republic, and a panderer to far right xenophobes and bigots

No doubt. Bush was a Moderate and for instance signed the Medicare D bill into law which had strong support from Democrats.

GW Bush is a trust fund idiot who is apparently a great guy.

Trump is a trust fund idiot who is a pathological liar. So yes, the level of concern is a lot higher.
