Treasure of Oak Island

I have been watching the series of the Oak Island mystery for the last three years and cannot determine if there is a treasure of significant magnitude or just some old arse Europeans that left coconut fibers and random Spanish coins just for the hell of it.
My heart wants to believe in a magnificent treasure (Templar ish) but I doubt the Laginas find anything except for 16th century wood carvings and large non mysterious rock formations with random Templar crosses painted on its sides.
What do you think?
Treasure Island or just BS?

That island has been searched for decades and it seems no one has found anything of real significance.

It's certainly interesting. There seems to be a whole Lot of work done there to not actually have anything there. I think at one point it was likely going to be used as a treasure dump but the island probably saw such volatile weather that it made It unusable for its originally intended purpose

They are definitely dragging the show out. I used to watch. Now I'll just wait and watch only if they find something.

I think there was a treasure buried on oak island long ago but it's gone now.

It really is depressing how the far the "history" channel has fallen. I'm a huge history nerd and have to watch non-hd AHC to get my history fix in now.
Bah humbug.

People used to make fun of it by calling it the Hitler channel. Turns out those were the good old days.

The narrator of that show says the following words at least 25 times per show.
"Could it be..............."
"Could it be..............."

Intriguing though that they pulled up wood 100' or more below the surface that was cut several hundred years ago. That had to have been put down there by someone, but by who, and why? Treasure or not, it is a stunning find, and certainly a mystery worthy of investigation.

The problem is most reality shows are 100% scripted. Who knows what they really found.
