84 Lumber is the winner here,

One of the greatest endings in Super Bowl history and people have already stopped talking about the game.

But you ain't stopped talking about this.

That assumes their sales are up. Based on the rather quick clarification, I'd venture to guess this isn't the case.

If the level of talk is your metric for winning then 84 Lumber wins.

If profit is your metric for winning then 84 Lumber is losing.

Maybe

I mean, you are right that they are getting a TON more exposure.

But, I'm not convinced it will help the bottom line. That they are walking it back is probably pretty meaningful.

Have noticed what's being discussed? Certainly not the game. No spin for you...try harder.

Well, there was a time when very few people knew who Anthony Weiner was

And then we had one of the greatest endings in election history

Is Anthony Weiner glad that people are still talking about him?

Considering they quickly retracted their statement in 4 days of the ad airing, I wouldn't call that winning. I would call that, they saw their bottom line shrinking and realized maybe they shouldn't wade into politics, and especially the losing side.
