Steve Sarkisian has reportedly found himself a new job.
The Alabama offensive coordinator and former USC head coach is "all but certain" to be named the Atlanta Falcons new offensive coordinator, according to Jordan Schultz of The Huffington Post. ESPN's Adam Schefter then verified and confirmed the report.
Sarkisian replaces Kyle Shanahan, who officially accepted the head coaching position with the San Francisco 49ers on Monday evening.

Wow.
Just wow.
That is from way, way out in left field.
Does Sark even have pro experience?

First they choke away the SB
Then they lose their best coordinator
Now they hire Sarkisian?!
This just keeps getting better and better.

He was the Raiders' QB coach in 2004. He's also only spent one full season as an OC at the college level. And that was back in 2007 with USC. So risky move by Atlanta.

Stupid move at the least.
How can the number one scoring offense in the league have to settle for this guy?

Did he not call plays when he was the HC at USC & Washington?

Sark is a really strange choice.

Lane "kittens" as we call him is somewhere LOLOLOLOLOLOLing at all this.

It's kind of amazing how quickly this guy got back into the system after a pretty spectacular flameout. Must have pictures of someone.
That said, he's a decent OC.

The best thing that could happen to us is ATL losing Shanahan.
He most certainly made Dennis Allen his whipping boy.
