Why do some people think our constitution applies to everyone in the world?

This is the most insane thing I've ever heard. Have you also seen people claiming this?
And they act like it's the world's right to come here as they please. It's insane.

What part of the constitution do you think is being ignored.

It's the new big lib talking point
Posted on 2/4/17 at 8:42 am to PrimeTime Money
Because they're fricking retarded.

Bc they are fricking stupid and have never read it for themselves. They listen to MSM and believe it to be fact. Sheep, I believe, is what they call people like that?

Yes I see this regularly
People are stupid. I think the majority of this country just learned what the electoral college was because they were forced to basically

While I am serious, it is also a manifestation of the idea by liberals that borders are inherently racist, therefore they should not exist and we are all "citizens of the world."

Yep. They for many years believed opening trade to hostile countries would show them our lifestyle was superior and those people would adopt it. Never worked as seen by USSR, China and numerous other nations. This same fascination they have with uncontrolled immigration will be the same way.

I've never seen anyone claim this
Can you provide examples?

Two basic Paradigms; Rights come from God and are Individual and relative affluence is based (ideally) on earned merit....or Rights come from the Global Community, and relative affluence is *equalized* by philosophical Elitist at the head of the World Community.
Individuals choose to embrace one or the other as a First Principle of their philosophical/moral Worldview. Those two are polar absolutes...with the Religious concept of 'Mercy' being the only form of reconciliation between those absolute opposites.
Wailing and gnashing of teeth on a grand scale, until that (Religious) reconciliation is recognized and adopted as the basis ("chief cornerstone") of World Governance. IMHO.

Or, more succinctly, what is your definition of a right?
Posted on 2/4/17 at 9:29 am to PrimeTime Money
Progressives - America is an evil imperialistic warlord.
Next breath - America's law of the land should apply to everyone in the world when we want it to.

On here daily! I have also noticed we have a lot of NEW people here.
What did you expect from the people who think we should not have borders.
My generation told you along time ago. You didn't listen. But....that's history. Now you have alot of growing pains to go through.

Constitutional rights apply to everyone but Americans.

Morality is subjective, S; as would the definition of a "Right" be. Secular Globalists like Bernie Sanders would consider communal health care as a (moral) Right, to be guaranteed by the Collective Government. Folk who CHOOSE the Religious (God exist) Paradigm would believe that access to the best of healthcare would be a matter of personal responsibility and earned merit, and with a Religious-based mercy system allotted on criteria of adjudged merit. I.e., that an unrepentant murderer has no moral right to healthcare, because and especially if such access limits the relative degree of access by individuals who may be lacking in practical merit, but are repentant and committed, and whose needs ARE morally justified.
Systematic subsidization based on Egalitarian Principle is utter and suicidal insanity. "Behold, there is a way that seemeth right unto man, but the end thereof is destruction" (Good Book).

You have good way of explaining this, but you can't make the opportunity definition of right solely a God/religion thing as evidenced but many atheist/agnostic libertarians who would espouse the opportunity definition.

Brush they don't even think the constitution applies to Americans. It's just the vehicle they're using right now to excuse their current childish outburst
Posted on 2/4/17 at 11:16 am to PrimeTime Money
Sounds like you are falsely framing the opposition.
Posted on 2/4/17 at 11:20 am to PrimeTime Money
Progressives are anti-Western.
Not only does our Constitution apply to everyone in the world, but Western nations "belong to everybody". Note that they are not pushing for massive Muslim immigration into Japan, for example.
