If you have an iPhone running iOS 10 there are services/apps you can download that will block these assholes, with NoMoRobo being the best, but costs $2/month.

My nexus 5x warns me of spam callers. Built into OS. The incoming call screen is red and says possible spam. I don't even pick them up. Looks like it uses user input for generating the lists. They've been calling me a lot recently. 2-5 times a day lately.

I'm pretty sure those are spoofed numbers. I got one from the same area code and prefix as my cell once. Didnt have my phone on me at the time so didn't answer. Called back and talked to the guy that answered and he definitely didn't call me. It would make sense that they would just spoof random numbers so blacklisting numbers wouldn't do shite.

I got one of these calls while ordering in a restaurant. Waitress was a college-aged young woman. I asked her if she was getting similar calls on her phone.

She became dead serious and said she was getting them and the auto warranty story was a ruse. She said the callers were really ISIS recruiters. Maybe my waitress was yogagirl.

. It used to be Heather, now it is just silence when I pick up. I wanted to go through it to get to a real person so I could threaten their family, but I don't even have the chance now. fricking terrorists.

It's been a long time since I've had a real person call. I used to like to cuss them out. Now it's either a robot voice or dead silence.

The dead silence ones are really odd. What are they accomplishing? Is there something they gain by me merely answering? Did they want to record my voice saying "hello" or something?

"Robocalls and telemarketing calls are currently the number one source of consumer complaints at the FCC." LINK

If Trump wants to impress me, solve that shite. Send the Delta Squad to kill the people behind the robocallers, put them in prison, waterboard them, anything. I'll support whatever it takes.

Just got another one from California. For today, my list is:

Ft Lauderdale
Delaware
Massachusetts
Connecticut
California

"Should I Answer?" app caught it, and all I got was a notification. Didn't even ring or show missed call

I thought I was the only one getting all these calls. I get two a day and it drives me nuts.

There's no way anyone is buying this shite.

Same here. Annoying as hell. I've reported them. I've put my number on the DNC list. Just doesn't seem to matter. Even tried the "7" option some have referenced. Latest list of call numbers...

When they call saying your warranty is about to expire, press whatever you have to to get a live person on the phone. Tell them thank God the warranty is still in effect, because you need to make a claim on it. The guy today told me thank you, and hung up.
