It's been humbling. I've gone though most of adulthood believing I'm reasonably attractive, but after countless threads where actual models are critiqued and criticized, I've realized I'm not. And it's kinda what has kept me engaged here. It's refreshing, in a weird way. Like an alternate reality.
I also now have a hard time not cringing when someone tells me they're getting a tattoo. It never really occurred to me before the OT that people had such strong opinions on their trashiness. I'm appropriately shamed, and plan to get the one I got on my 18th birthday removed soon.

Even though I have been a member for 13 years, I've learned that Nature shortchanged me compared to other members of the OT:
-I don't have a 10" dick
-I didn't score a 35 or above on my ACT
-I don't run a 4.5 or better 40

The OT has made me extremely judgmental of oilfield baws and trashyness.
Has also taught me not to tell people in person that I'm a chemical plant operator because if they have a 4 year degree and make less they will get salty
