Gas at places like racetrack hitting 2.15 truck nuts making a comeback?

In point of fact, things are looking up. Rigs are starting to move out of storage, manufactures of OCTG, line pipe, valves, fittings, etc. have backorders and long lead times because of increased demand. Its definitely better than it was the last 3 years.
Oh and the truck nuts thing is soo old. Time to put that one out to pasture.

I've been told that permitting has increased a good bit in S. LA. but we haven't seen the effects yet on our side. A few buddies of mine on the drilling side also said that things are picking up.

Probably not for long. OPEC is finally looking to cut production, oil price goes up, United States ramps up output, price drops.

I'm seeing an obvious pickup with land work. Offshore, not so much. Supply boats still stacked on top each other in terrebonne and lafourche.

Things are starting to look a little better. My company isn't going bankrupt at current prices. We don't have plans to lay off any more people. Bonuses are supposed to be at or slightly above target. Possibly even a few raises this year (fingers crossed).
It just means we are on the right side of the bottom. Definitely not booming by any means. The only place people are really blowing and going is in the Permian in West Texas.
