Like the late Denny Green would say, "They are who we thought they were". That line applies particularly to two franchises more often than not - the Cowboys and Falcons. One team just happened to live to the billing a week earlier than the other.

I'll take the Falcons because of their consistency, slight defensive edge, and being at home.
In no way, shape, or form would I take Ryan over Rodgers though.

Well that one guy in Vegas has bet the farm on the Packers after doubling down 8 straight weeks now. I'll side with him.
The only two times a team played their last game ever in their home stadium that happened to be in the NFC Championship. They both lost. 2002 Eagles and 1970 49ers

Packers because you'll win 2 farms with the current ML.

Atlanta's and Green Bay's defenses are equally terrible, so I'll take Rodgers over Ryan.

Falcons because it's home, but it's going to be a close game.

I'm not betting my farm on "Matty Ice"

quote:
ViewFromVegas of NFC and AFC Championship Games (as of 2 p.m. ET Wednesday): Atlanta has been steadily increased to a 4.5-point home favorite despite Green Bay getting most of the public support (offshore books as well as the South Point and William Hill books in Vegas have even gone to -5). The over/under has also risen to 61 points.
Why is this happening if public support is behind GB? My knowledge of lines moving is very basic.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Atlanta won easily.
