UA did cover St. Aug's equipment for some time. Doesn't mean he only wore UA or St. Aug was always an UA team. And Nike covered LSU and St. Aug, so you're so far off it's not even funny.

St Aug signed a contract with UA in Leonard's senior year. Nike sucks when it comes to football for HS. UA is racking up in high school endorsements. They just inked a new deal last year. The deals aren't as sweet as we might think. Cleats are sold to kids at a discounted rate but one set of unis are given free. Other paraphernalia may be given as well.

Correct. The point was Fournette barely wore UA, so to speculate that a deal was in the works this whole time is ridiculous. He could of easily gone with NIKE as well. It's all about the pay day, and of course what he prefers wearing. In this case UA came out on top.

UA is quickly snatching up a ton of top-tier athletes. Bryce Harper, Steph Curry, Jordan Spieth, Michael Phelps, Tom Brady.

St Aug switched to UA his senior year and still continues to wear them. I'm not trying to slight him in any way. Just stating that this happens a lot in other sports. I went to Brother Martin and saw us switch brands because one offered a better deal for DJ Augustin.
