Former LSU wide receiver Jazz Ferguson will be transferring to Northwestern State University, according to a post on his Twitter account Sunday.
"Blessed to say, I'll be furthering my education at Northwestern St. University," the 6-foot-5, 215-pounder tweeted.
Ferguson, who prepped at West Feliciana, played in six games with one start and had two receptions for 17 yards this season before he was suspended indefinitely before LSU's game with Alabama.

Why NSU? Couldn't he play at a bigger school?

he will crush it at nsu

Jazz trying to go the Randy Moss route. Thrown out of major program, transfer to much smaller school, do the mandatory 3 yr out of high school thing, hope to make it big in the NFL.
Good luck to him

I remember when he missed a block on a bubble screen against McNeese State, and I said he wouldn't get much more playing time the rest of the year. Boy did that ring in the downvotes

Combine the stats he should be putting up vs small time D2 schools plus his measurables he could definitely be a 4-5th round pick in next year's draft

Eh 98% of our transfers don't amount to shite

Does anyone know exactly what happened with him? What team rule did he break?

hope he gets back on track. kid had enough talent to play at the next level. that kid could wreck the Demons conference

Diarse graduated. His eligibility at LSU was up. He shouldn't count.

same thing i was thinking. who has left and been successful

Tyron Johnson is going to light it up at Oklahoma State. Diarse was a solid player, but not a difference maker. Pretty much the same as he was at LSU.
