I offer now as the time for us to talk about fiscal responsibility

LINK

quote:

UPDATED: The U.S. House has joined the Senate in approving a budget resolution as part of the GOP plan to repeal parts of the Affordable Care Act, known as Obamacare.

They had to take out the credit card to do it.

The resolution says the public debt will start at $20,034,788,000,000 (that’s $20 trillion+) in 2017, then rise to $29,126,158,000,000 ($29.1 trillion) in fiscal year 2026. That’s an increase in $9.1 trillion over ten years, or about $900 billion annually on average.

About 11 trillion

What does that have to do with anything?

That less than half the rate that Obama added to the national debt.

10 trillion. The dear leader doubled it, and what do we have to show for it?

That's not true but even if it were what does that matter? I thought conservatives valued fiscal responsibility above all?

Lol stop it. Reagan was the first to run huge deficits, Bill and the GOP worked together to balance the budget which GWB promptly flushed down the toilet. Obama actually ran on cutting debt and while the economic crisis does give him somewhat of an excuse I think it's totally fair to criticize him on that front.

The headline could just as easily and more accurately state "Repeal of Obamacare Will Reduce Growth of U.S. Debt By More Than 50% by 2026."

I don't know why I'm responding to your dumbass but others need to see my comments....

Where is the line item in your budget showing how much the border wall is going to save the insurance costs by way of not treating illegals across the country?
