No comparison. Fargas had her two best players out with injuries last year...given their return and the incoming transfers who had to sit last year (namely Chloe Jackson), there was at least a ray of hope that this year would be good for the women. There is zero ray of hope for the men and the light at the end of the tunnel is an approaching freight train.

No. Johnny Jones also thinks he deserves another year. I don't think he does. Had hoped he would be successful but not even close. Can't coach.

It would be good to get a new coach for next season but is LSU men's basketball a destination job? Since Dale Brown the program has slipped. I liked John Brady and I don't think he gets enough credit here for taking a program to regional semi-finals (elite 8) but LSU has made bad hires since firing John Brady.
If LSU is serous about basketball they have to pay the money and hire someone like Roy Williams, Tom Izzo, John Calipari, Rick Pitino and so on. I have a feeling that LSU wouldn't hire someone like though.
Dale Brown will be the best basketball coach LSU has ever had.

Yep. I don't care who the basketball coach is. His pay needs to be cut in half and take what was cut and put it into the football recruiting budget.

Where are the dumbasses who thought losing the Prep player of the year, McDonald's All American, SEC and national freshman of the year, first team SEC, consensus first team all American, and number 1 pick in the NBA draft would result in a better team? JJ couldn't even make the tournament. Commentators laughed at us. Ben Simmons is the worst thing to happen to JJ because it drew a spotlight to LSU and the nation got to witness his sucktitude. Time for him to go.
