All I see is a bunch of people from the opposing side expressing their "grave concerns" over his policies. I have seen nothing that should make him ineligible or unfit for the office. Concerns over policy would carry no weight. The people elected the executive and this was the person chosen by the executive.

Of something shitty/illegal/racist? No

Of him doing good/enforcing the law/prosecuting criminals? Yes

I thought rational people here abhorred Orwellian views and principles. Has this changed overnight?

He will be confirmed. Sessions is a class act and a very decent man.

Slavery. Back of the bus. Colored water fountains. That seems to be about it. The people who know him and have worked with him speak glowingly of him.

Toddy says Sessions is going to shock him in a therapy session with electricity so there's that.

Supposedly there is a letter from Mrs. King detailing some of Jeff's conduct before his nomination in 1986. I don't know how much of that is true, though. There are also those who say he was Klan affiliated at one time.

Look, the guy is from Selma, Alabama and lived through the Civil Rights Movement. If he is a racist, it shouldn't be that hard to find out. I personally don't like him because his views are pretty antiquated and he seems pretty stubborn. It's not my call, though (obviously). You won't see me riot over it or call him a racist without proof.

It took Ted Cruz about 120 seconds to shut up every democrat on that panel.
