In. First Nintendo purchase since a Gamecube. So I'll be getting about 3 systems in one with the digital store

Almost do or die for Nintendo. I think they'd have at most 2 more generations like the Wii U before they tank.

Let's hope all of the news is good and 3rd parties take a look. Without 3rd parties, it will be a tough climb.

I'm interested. I have only owned the handhelds. Never owned a 3ds because had a Vita. If I could play 3ds games digitally, I would get it day 1.

Such a strange time to hold this thing, as the only county in Prime Time hours is Japan, but let's do this thing.

I was pretty excited about the Switch when they announced it, but this price-point is too high. I'm hoping this is a colossal flop and they start just doing games as a third-party. I'd love to see some Link on my XBox.

The real question is why can't Nintendo put out anything semi relevant in 2017?

Preordered the console and Breath of the Wild. Pretty excited about it.

Anybody have an idea about where Breath of the Wild takes place in the timeline? I've read some stuff that suggests it follows Twilight Princess and some that suggests it follows Wind Waker.

Is this bitch really sold out everywhere?

frick Nintendo, seriously. If I can't get one now, I won't ever buy Nintendo again. Even if all other consoles go under.

So it's looking like the Switch might actually be a good bit more powerful than we thought. If you missed it, there was a foxconn leak a while back that placed it near xbone level power-wise. More and more details of that leak have been confirmed (such as weight of the system, battery voltage, etc.).

This guy explains it better than I can but supposedly everything currently slated for release was developed on an earlier devkit version (specs of which were reported on by eurogamer) which was only recently replaced by the final version.
