Got an 07 Acura TL that the dash codes tell me is in need of an oil change and a transmission fluid flush/ replacement (Code A13). What kind of prices am I looking at with a decent, honest mechanic?

If in Baton Rouge, $318.18 (materials, labor, etc.) + 10 % tax rate = $350.00

Make sure you get the valve cover gaskets changed too! 9 year old car needs new valve cover gaskets!

About a hundred dollars.

Drop the pan. I wouldn't flush trans at 9 years, unless its been flushed at regular intervals. Make sure the pan crud gets cleaned and new gasket replaced.

Stay away from flushes. I would just drain and refill. No need to drop the trans pan. Where are you located?

Oil change is pretty normal.
My FIL is a mechanic and he says not only are transmission flushes "a racket", they can also be dangerous to you car if not done regularly and properly. He has always recommended a drain and fill, but not a flush.

No such thing as a A13 code that I see

I own an'06 TL, the transmission filter is not in the pan, take off drain plug, after add 3 qts. of Honda/Acura fluid. Don't use any other fluid but Honda. Oil change, take it anywhere respectable....
