I gotta say, it would be difficult for me to spend $2000 on someone to design something that I don't wanna spend more than $15k on. Especially with things like Pinterest.
Maybe if I were building something really extensive like yours. Or building it in conjunction with building a house. This is just a spec house and I hope to sell it within 4 years.

The shoppers choice reccommendations are solid. That place really is like a toys r'us for guys. I just finished a small outdoor kitccken for $25k, but I had to pour a 20x13 slab. As far as the pergola idea.....well, it sure is an expensive way to hang a cieling fan.
